THE car manufacturer that I reckon has the most diverse range of cars in its line up today is Nissan. The likes of Mercedes-Benz and Ford have more cars in their line up than Nissan. True that may be, but how much do their models actually differ from each other?
Let me explain here…
Nissan makes ultra-conventional cars like the Micra, Pulsar and the very practical Note mini-MPV. Then you have the quirky yet popular crossovers like the Juke and Qashqai. There are rugged vehicles such as the X-Trail and Pathfinder SUVs, and the Navara pick-ups. There are sports and performance cars too with the 370Z and the GT-R. Last but not least, Nissan also make electric vehicles with the LEAF and NV200.
That is a very diverse range of cars there that Nissan have in their line up. Correct me if I’m wrong, but no manufacturer has a more diverse range in their line up than the Japanese outfit. The LEAF to the GT-R is one extreme to another. You could say that Nissan is the Jekyll and Hyde of car makers.
Is there a company that has a more diverse range of cars than Nissan? If you think so, then let me know with your comments below.
